Use these words wisely in Malaysia, as the wrong use of them would get you fined.
You can't use the word ALLAH, unless you're a Muslim or own a pro-government paper.
You can't call your wife ugly, once the proposed amendment to the domestic violence act takes hold.
You cannot mention "Altantuya Shaariibuu" in a by-election speech, it's considered sub judice and likely to affect the outcome of a trial that Lingam probably already wrote judgement for.
Finally, you can't blame the Perak Constitutional crisis on Najib, as it's seditious and the Police WILL come knocking on your door.
As an Indian I'm afraid, because Indians don't do too well in Police Lockups. Indians in police lockups end up like this...

Lim Kit Siang can speak bravely, cause no one is going to harm a senior opposition leader in the lockup........or maybe not. (case in point: Anwars black eye, and Teratai Assemblywomen Jenice Lee)
Of course with so many restrictions on what we cannot say, it's a wonder we still have Malaysians walking the street. Uncle Lim posed the question of "Are there enough courts and Prisons?" to house all the Malaysians who have violated these laws.
Seriously, between the Ah longs, rapes and snatch thefts that continue to plague Malaysian society... don't these guys have their hands full already? Can't they just forget about Allah and Altatunya and focus on making Malaysians feel safe in their own home without the need for 24hr under-paid indian security guards on kap-chai motorbikes with poorly made sirens? That Gurkha standing by the bank in Kelana Jaya, may give me peace of mind, but I don't stay in the bank.
It's getting so out of control, that people are taking the law into their own hands. A foreigner had to kill the rapist of his wife, possibly because he did not trust the police to handle the case in pursuit of justice.
Yet, we're more interested in housing Mas Selamat under the ISA, rather than hand him over to the Singaporeans who would do that for free.
So once again...."Are there enough courts and Prisons?", well I'm not sure about Malaysia. In the Netherlands it's a case of too many prisons and courts. The Netherlands is planing to cut it's prison workforce because there aren't enough inmates to incarcerate. Apparently there's not enough criminals to fill up their 14,000 capacity prison (Malaysia has roughly 40,000 prisoners).
In a country were prostitutes dance by red lighted windows in it's capital, where people smoke Marijuana in coffee shops that don't serve coffee and free speech is a deeply treasured and revered value, there really aren't that many things to arrest people on.
So the Netherlands incarcerates people for 'petty' crimes like Rape, murder and theft.....but forget to focus on the 'important' crimes like using Allah, making references to Najib in the Perak crisis (GASP!!) or more seriously.....calling your wife ugly (GASP!! GASP!!)
Of course, you could say the Netherlands is a much richer country and therefore it's crime rate should be lower... there's no correlation between how rich a country is it's crime rate. America definitely isn't a crime-free nation but it's worlds richest.
And which country annually arrest 4000 men for groping women on trains? Where 70% of it's girls have been molested in public transports? If you guessed Nigeria or Malaysia, you're dead wrong. In fact it's the worlds second richest nation and home of the Nintendo Wii. The situation in Japan is so bad they've implemented 'nearly arabic style' women only coaches.
So obviously Crime has nothing to do with income level. True, we all focus on robbery and think poor people rob. But poor people all over the world, probably never took as much as Kenneth Lay of Enron or Ling Liong Sik of PKFZ and Transmile. (undilah MCA)
In fact there's probably more crime in urban Malaysia then there is in rural Malaysia which is a much poorer sub-section of society. So if you want to feel safe either stay in Kampung so-so in the inner pekans of Kelantan...or head over in Amsterdam and enjoy their coffee shops.
You won't feel safe in Urban Malaysia, because our politicians are too busy coming out with STUPID FUCKING LAWS that do little but divide Malaysians, oppress free speech and give me topics to criticize on this forsaken blog.
That's my 2 cents. Don't spend it all in one place.
